What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques, developed by Gary
Craig and based on the work of Dr. Roger Callahan, works on the
mind-energy body to eliminate mental, emotional, physical or spiritual
stresses. Callahan combined acupuncture and kinesiology
Everything is energy and all energy has
frequencies. Sometimes the frequencies we have around us and in our
bodies gets blocked, which can cause us stress – emotional, physical,
psychological, or spiritual. EFT helps release blocked energy to give
relief from pain, diseases, and emotional issues or traumas. It is an
emotional version of acupuncture except no needles are needed.
EFT is a safe, gentle, non-invasive technique that
works on your meridian energy points by tapping with your fingertips on
various meridian points. The process is easy to memorize and is
portable so you can do it anywhere at any time.
EFT also brings attention to the limbic system.
Your Limbic system is a network of
structures in the brain which are involved in
many of our moods, emotions, motivations and memory.
How it works

While tapping on acupressure points along
meridians, or energy pathways throughout the body, and working on a
specific problem, issue or goal, the mind/body energy system is
"straightened out," and the energy becomes unblocked.
